The Hamilton Red Wings travelled to Orangeville Saturday night for their second of four games in four nights.

The Red Wings were doubled up 8-4 the night before in Milton , and were looking to get rolling against a struggle Flyers team.

Much like their first trip to Orangeville this year, the Wings were down early and captain Spencer Hyman was shown the gate.

Flyers Keegan Ackerland and Mathew Thompson scored to end of the first giving them a two goal lead heading into the locker room.

In the second, it only took the Wings five minutes to get even with the Flyers on a pair of goals from Dylan Hutton and Adam Brady. Minutes later, the Flyers’ Kelby Lorenz gave the lead back to Orangeville, 3-2 after 40 minutes.

Again, the Wings had an answer. In the third, Patrice Fozo scored his first goal as a Red Wing with assists from Merante and Crema.

Brandon Gaudette would score for the Flyers to break the tie. Later, Mathew Thompson would add his second of the game to close a 5-3 Flyers victory.

Hamilton goalie Avery Allen saw a lot of rubber Saturday making 56 saves on 61 Flyers shots. Orangeville’s Taylor Welsh made 34 saves in the victory.

Next up for the Wings, the North York Rangers on Sunday afternoon.
